Privacy policy

The short version

• Your recordings, scripts and projects are stored so the app can work on them, and are deleted when you delete the project.
• Audio and text leave our systems only when you start something that needs an AI provider: converting a line, generating a script line, designing a voice, splitting with AI or formatting a script.
• AI splitting is off by default and has to be turned on per project.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your recordings to train models.

What we store

Your account

Name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store the password itself). If you sign in with Google, your Google account id and profile picture URL instead of a password. We also keep when you last signed in.

Your projects

Uploaded and recorded audio, cleaned copies of it, waveform data, transcripts, pasted scripts, characters, lines, converted takes and exports. Audio is kept in private cloud storage; everything else in our database.

Voices

The voices you design: the name, your description and a short preview clip.

Usage and billing

A record of each paid AI call (which provider, how much audio or text, which project) so we can charge credits and show what a project has cost, plus your credit balance, payments and plan.

How we use your data

We use your data only to run the app for you: storing your projects, processing your audio, and charging credits. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use your recordings, scripts or transcripts to train AI models. When a feature needs an AI provider, we send only what that feature needs, and we do not keep extra copies of it.

Cookies and analytics

• Sign-in cookies. Two cookies keep you signed in, and a short-lived one protects a Google sign-in while it is in progress. They are needed for the app to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Page view counts. We count visits to each page ourselves. Each visit is stored with the page, your country, and an anonymous id made from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so it cannot follow you across days. Your IP address itself is not stored. Your browser remembers which pages it already counted today so refreshes are not counted twice.
• Visit statistics. We also use an aggregated, cookie-free analytics service.
• Preferences. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser only.

Deleting your data

• A project: deleting it permanently removes its audio files, transcripts, lines, takes, exports and usage records. This cannot be undone.
• Your account: email us from the address on the account and we will delete it with all its projects and voices. Payment records may be kept where the law requires it.
• Data already sent to an AI provider is handled under that provider's retention terms.
